Abducted Hindu Girls in Bangladesh has been Rescued and Protected from Forcefully Conversion

    World Hindu Federation (WHF), Bangladesh Chapter has rescued three abducted Hindu girls from Sylhet and Gazipur and handed over those recued girls to their parents.

    Sonali Das (pseudonym), a 15-year-old Hindu girl from Kubrail village of Balaganj police station in Sylhet district, was finally rescued on 03 April 2021 through the sincere efforts of the World Hindu Federation-Bangladesh Chapter and was saved from conversion. The girl has been handed over to her parents. On 26/03/2021, on her way to school for Independence Day celebrations, the local terrorists abducted the girl and tried to forcibly convert her to Islam and tried to marry her.

    Rikta Das (pseudonym), a 16-year-old Hindu girl from Baria village in Sadarupazila of Gazipur district, was rescued on 02 April 2021 by the tireless efforts of the WHF-Bangladesh Chapter and saved from conversion. On 30/03/2021, Md. Nahid with the help of his associates abducted the girl and tried to forcibly convert her.

    NipaVardhan (pseudonym), a 14-year-old Hindu girl from Rajabari Union at SreepurUpazila in Gazipur District, was rescued on 02 April 2021 through the sincere efforts of World Hindu Federation-Bangladesh Chapter. The teenage girl has been handed over to her parents. The teenage girl was abducted on 31/03/2021.

    A Hindu girl, Shristi Rani Barman (14 years) has been abducted by the local Muslim boys in Madhupur, Tangail on 31 March 2021 from her own house. Parents went to the local police station to file a case but the police didn’t receive this case. Even the perpetrators threatened the parents to leave the country and they also told that they will convert this Hindu girl in Islam. This Hindu girl has not been rescued yet.

    WHF-Bangladesh Chapter provided wholehearted thanks to Ashish Kumar, Dr. BiswanathSarker, Rama KantiDey, Ripon Chandra Das and others for their hard effort and cooperation for rescuing those 3 teenage Hindu girls. Secretary General of WHF- Bangladesh Chapter, DipanMitra, has assured all the rescued Hindu girls and their families to stay beside them and provide all kinds of support and cooperation.
