A meeting between Md. Zahangir Alam, Bangladesh Ambassador to Uzbekistan and Farhod Arziev Nuritdinovich, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan has hold today in the Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, enriching the relations, holding Foreign Office Consultation (FOC) meeting establishment of joint ventures in the field of textiles and pharmaceuticals, proceed agreement on direct passenger flights in Tashkent -Dhaka- Tashkent route, arrangement of higher level visits, opening of new Embassy of Uzbekistan in Dhaka were discussed. First Deputy Foreign Minister requested Ambassador to assist in sending advisors from Bangladesh for textile sectors in Uzbekistan. The Ambassador supported the idea and agreed to assist in this regard.
Nripendra Chandra Debnath, Minister of Bangladesh Embassy, Oybek Eshonov, Head of the Department for Cooperation with Countries of South Asia, Near, Middle East and Africa and concerned official of the Ministry were present during the meeting.
