The conviction of former prime minister Khaleda Zia in a corruption case has been covered widely by major news outlets across the globe.
She and five others, including her son Tarique Rahman, were found guilty of embezzling Tk2.1 crore received in charity for an orphanage.
Khaleda was sentenced to five years in jail while the rest were handed down 10-year imprisonment.
