The minorities of Bangladesh should not leave the country and run away, they should fight for their rights. KPC Group Chairman Dr. Kali Pradip Chaudhuri called upon the minorities to unite and build resistance. unite and build resistance

On October 26, 2024 (Saturday) at the Church of Scientology Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, the United States of Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council California branch and the Human Rights Congress for Bangladesh Minority initiated the international conference on the ongoing persecution of minority Hindu Buddhist Christian tribal communities in Bangladesh. He made this call in his guest speech.

The special guest of the conference, Dr. Dhiman Devachoudhury, Chairman, HRBCM USA, presented a documentary and report on the persecution of minorities in Bangladesh.

The conference was presided over by Shri Shyamal Majumder, President, BHBCUC, USA California Wing. The conference was moderated by Swami Subhanandpuri Puri Maharaj, Secretary General, BHBCUC, USA California Wing and CEO, CA TV AMERICA.
Pankaj Sutradhar, India coordinated the global live coverage and promotion of the conference.

This important conference was sponsored by Bajrangbali Security & Executive Protection Services, USA. The conference was co-hosted by World Hindu Federation USA Chapter and World Buddhist Federation, USA.

At 5:30 pm, the conference starts gathering through the registration of conference participants, reception of guests, tea circle. The conference was officially inaugurated at 6 pm by lighting the lamp and reading scriptures. Inaugurated by all the dignitaries present and joined virtually by Attorney Ashok K Karmakar, Chairman, BHBCUC USA Governing Body. In the beginning, the Bengali American new generation performed the national anthem of America and Bangladesh together. The inaugural cultural program included Pandit Subir Adhikari (Tabla), Roji Dutta (Rag Pradhan Bengali), Anvesha Chakraborty (Sitar) Snehashish Ghosh (Tabla), folk cultural performances of the indigenous Chakma community and performances by local artistes. After the cultural programme, the main session of the conference began which was moderated by Swami Subhananda Puri Maharaj. A series of recorded facts, reports, documentaries and discussion sessions on persecution of minority communities in Bangladesh are conducted live and virtually respectively, which are broadcast live on CA TV Global’s online platform. Representatives of local and international human rights organizations participated in the session.

The conference ended with a vote of thanks by the president of the conference, Shyamal Majumder. Anvesha Chakraborty translated the program into English.
